On Thursday, October 1st, Montreal area Second World War veterans gathered at our digital archiving event at the Ste. Anne Hospital’s Liason Day Centre to record their stories and artefacts with our team of collection officers, thanks to the generous assistance from the Liason Day Centre staff.
Friday, October 2nd, local Second World War veterans were honored guests at L’Hôtel de l’institut in downtown Montreal to participate in our project and to be recognized at a luncheon event. MP Massimo Pacetti sent greetings to the veterans on behalf of the Government of Canada.
